Tune Tuesday–April Edition!

Two months in a row life has been so hectic that I haven’t gotten this up on the first Tuesday of the month.  I’m so glad I didn’t say it would be the first of the month but just a Tuesday in the month.

How was your Easter?  Ours was good.  We went to the zoo, had an egg hunt, saw Auntie Heather and Uncle Kyle, and the boys went swimming.  There was also food, a lot of good food.  I love food.  Too much sometimes unfortunately.  Oh, and a chocolate bunny…  of my own.  Not the kids.  Yup.  He’s my homie and soon he will be in my tummy.  Thanks Heather!  The drive down to Calgary was a little crazy but the drive home was peaceful and nobody tried to merge into us so uneventful as well!

I went to hot yoga last night for the first time in months…  it was fabulous and I can’t wait to go again.  I love the ache of your body trying to stretch farther than it does in everyday life.  I love the way my brain isn’t going a thousand miles a minute and all I think about is not falling over into my friend and the occasional thought is spared to realizing there is sweat rolling down my spine and it feels good.

Here are some songs I’ve been listening to lately…  Enjoy!

The Temper Trap – Fader

The XX – Night Time

Hooray for Earth – True Loves

Band of Horses – The Funeral

Taylor Swift ft. The Civil Wars – Safe & Sound  - Yes, I know…  Taylor Swift…  what the hell is going on hey?  Sometimes I like to pretend I’m a teenager still.

Gym Class Hero's – Ass Back Home ft. Neon Hitch – I have no explanation…  Sorry.

I realize my list might be confusing to some of you as it is all over the place.  What can I say?  I like it all, I try it all.  I don’t discriminate against music.  Hopefully there is something new that catches your ear!

Penguins!  Look at those happy little boys.  Thanks for standing in line for a long time Auntie and Uncle!

Sorry for the shitty quality…  it’s from Hubby’s blackberry.

See ya next month!
