Another week done. Yippee!!! Although, honestly I don't know what I'm counting down to. I guess maybe almost a whole year of meal planning. As I said that I thought to myself "I should really figure out what my family's favourite meals are". Right now I think it would be pretty sad as Riley would probably pick Hot Dogs, Macaroni, Toast, and Eggs. Kids.... I love em but they have no zest for tasty food. Lukie has been eating really well lately and almost anything I put in front of him. It's a nice change.
Nothing to exciting planned for this weekend. Soccer tomorrow morning for R and T. I might go watch, not sure yet. We will see how that works out. Grocery shopping. We've been going to Superstore lately and have noticed it's a lot cheaper than where we normally shop. It's been quite nice on the budget. Hopefully it can continue to be nice on the budget.
I volunteered to make cookies for Riley's class at school for the halloween party. I like helping out. I can't go into class too often because I have Lukie to look after most days but it makes me feel like I'm helping out a little if I do things like bake when they need me to. I planning on making Martha Stewarts Candy Corn Cookies. They look so yummy! It's a little bit selfish as it lets me buy candy corn. I love candy corn. I hope Riley likes them. I even have a pumpkin plate for him to take them in on!
Halloween is this week. I'm looking forward to seeing my cute little lion and astronaut! I have soup planned for that night. I'm hoping I can tie the kids to chairs long enough to get some hot soup into them before they go out into the cool/cold weather and go trick or treating.
Like I said, nothing too exciting. Hope you have a wonderful last week of October and Happy Halloween! :)
