Meal Planning for the Week of January 8, 2012

I got it done! It may be 10:30 at night but I GOT IT DONE! Now to go shopping and get the stuff. First part done, yipee!

Sunday
    -Breakfast - Fruit and Pancakes or French Toast or Waffle
    -Lunch - Snackies
    -Dinner - Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese

Make the Grab N Go Cookies for the coming week!  

Monday
    -Breakfast - Toast/Cookie/Oatmeal/Smoothie
    -Lunch -  PB & J (kids) Salad /w Chicken(T & H)
    -Dinner - Mexican Chicken Pot Pies

Tuesday
    -Breakfast - Toast/Cookie/Oatmeal/Smoothie
    -Lunch -  Salad w/ Chicken
    -Dinner - Mom and Papa’s

Wednesday
    -Breakfast - Cookie and Milk and Apple (Fruit)
    -Lunch - Salad w/ Chicken
    - Dinner - Tortilla Soup

Thursday
    -Breakfast - Cookie and Milk and Apple (Fruit)
    -Lunch - Salad w/ Chicken
    -Dinner - Split Pea and Ham Soup with Pancakes and Jam

Friday
    -Breakfast - Cookie with Milk and Apple (Fruit)
    -Lunch - Yogurt w/ Berries and Granola
    -Dinner - Chicken and Biscuits

Saturday
    -Breakfast - Cinnamon Buns and Fruit
    -Lunch -  Light lunch, party in the afternoon
    -Dinner - Cesar Salad w/ Chicken or Shrimp and Garlic Toast

- Box of Greens or Romaine (enough for 8 lunches)

- Jalepeno
- Cilantro
- Tomato
- Butternut Squash
- Garlic

Meat

- 9 4oz chicken breasts.  Bone in if cheaper (3 for pot pie and 2 for soup 4 for Chick n Bus)
- Compare Price of Rotisserie Chicken vs Buying fresh and do it myself.  Need 2 for the week.

Dairy

- 2 4L Milk 2%
- 2 Cup cream or Half and Half (Two recipes)

Other

- Puff Pastry
- Frozen Corn (for two recipes)
- Frozen Peas
- Chipotle in Adobo Sauce x 2 recipes
- Chicken Broth - Low sodium x 5 Boxes
- Corn Tortilla Chips, Baked
- Olive Oil ?  If Mom didn’t get at Costco
- 3 28 oz cans of tomatoes Whole and Roma
- Oatmeal for the kids in the morning
- Granola Bars - Buy PCF
- One jar baby food prunes
- Dried Cranberries
- Oat Bran
- Wheat Germ
- Dark Chocolate Chips
